When I was just 5 years old, my dad tried to make me learn play guitar. The crazy thing was, I left it the same day because I hurt my fingers and lost interest in it.

I must say that my decision of giving up was 100 percent wrong, because learning guitar is really not difficult. If we can bear the initial pain then guitar can prove really interesting.

Guitar pitch changes in the following way. First you have to put the fingers around strings and frets. After that, you need to press it down by shortening the string. By performing the same action on individual strings, melodies are born.

Playing a Chord:

A chord is simply two or more notes that are played at the same time.  Just by putting your finger on two strings or pressing it down, you’ll be finally playing a chord.  On the first instance it doesn’t sound melodic but it is the only way to start with.

Next thing is learning the patterns and styles of playing guitar keys. Do remember that each chord of guitar has some unique sounds and shape. I assure you that learning guitar would be a melody in itself.
